Yes. We use canless LED recessed lights or remodel-rated cans designed for retrofit, which install through a small hole and don't require attic access in most cases.
Modern residential landscape lighting is almost always 12-volt low-voltage, run from a transformer in a weatherproof box near the house. It's safer to dig around and easy to expand later.
Yes — either by replacing the fixture entirely with an LED unit, or by re-wiring the existing fixture to bypass the ballast and run LED tubes directly. We recommend the bypass route for older shop and kitchen fluorescents.
