Pricing

How much does common electrical work cost?

We give flat-rate quotes after an on-site assessment. Typical Midlands ranges: outlet or switch repair $80–$200, breaker replacement $150–$300, full 100→200-amp panel upgrade $2,400–$4,200, Level 2 EV charger install $650–$1,800. No surprise invoices.

Do you charge for estimates?

Estimates for replacement and installation work are free. Diagnostic visits for active problems are $89, applied to the repair if you book the work with us.

Can I get a quote over the phone?

For simple replacements, sometimes. For most installations we need to see the site to give an accurate flat-rate quote — the assessment is free for replacement and install work.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Plus check and ACH.

Scheduling & Availability

How quickly can you come out?

Same-day or next-day for most service requests across the Midlands. Emergencies are prioritized — we respond around the clock for true safety issues.

What is your service area?

Columbia, West Columbia, Cayce, Blythewood, Irmo, Chapin, Lexington, Elgin, Forest Acres, and the surrounding Midlands. If you're nearby and not on this list, call — we likely still come.

Do you work weekends?

Monday–Friday is our standard schedule. Emergency response is 24/7. Non-emergency Saturday work is sometimes available — ask when you book.

Emergencies

What counts as an electrical emergency?

Sparking outlets, burning smell from a panel or outlet, partial power loss to the home, exposed live wiring, water damage involving electrical, or any condition where you've shut off the main breaker for safety.

What should I do while waiting for an emergency electrician?

Shut off power at the main breaker if you can do so safely. Keep people and pets away from the affected area. Don't use the affected circuits. If you smell smoke or see fire, call 911 first.

Do you handle emergency calls 24/7?

Yes — true electrical emergencies (sparking outlets, burning smell from a panel, partial power loss, exposed live wiring) get same-day response from a licensed electrician, any day of the week.

Financing

Do you offer financing?

Yes — monthly payments as low as $89/month on panel upgrades, whole-home rewires, EV charger installs, generators, and other larger projects. Subject to credit approval.

Who provides your financing?

Approved third-party lenders. We connect you in minutes and you get a decision before the work starts. The $89/month example assumes a $5,000 project at typical residential terms.

What if my credit isn't great?

We still try. The lenders we work with serve a wide credit range. Ask your technician about options at the time of your quote.

Warranty

Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Yes. Most service work carries a 1-year workmanship warranty. Manufacturer warranties apply to the equipment we install — typically 5–25 years depending on the part.

How do I register my warranty?

Visit our Warranty page and fill out the registration form. We keep your service on file with priority status and reminder schedules for safety inspections.

Do you do free home electrical inspections?

Registered warranty customers qualify for a complimentary home electrical safety checkup once — breaker panel, surge protection, smoke detectors, and GFCI testing.
